Seattle Food Trucks

Here is the Daily206's ever growing list of Seattle Food Trucks. As the weather improves more trucks will hit the streets...and will be added to the list!

Buns on Wheels

We bring fine dining to the streets.
Buns is a mobile gourmet kitchen serving gourmet burgers made from premium, all-natural and organic ingredients.

Street food does not get better than this.
We endeavor to be environmentally responsible. We use only recyclable containers and ware. We compost food scraps and anything else that can be composted. We source our supplies locally to support our neighbors and to help minimize greenhouse gas generated from trucking in food from long distances.

Skillet
In 2007, Chef Josh Henderson created Skillet Street Food in Seattle, one of the first food experiences of what has since become a prototype for the national street food movement that has swept the country. Out of a vintage Airstream trailer, he created innovative lunch menus based on American-inspired food prepared with classic technique and seasonal ingredients. The reception from Seattle'ites was immediate and passionate. They were drawn to the chef driven food, the excitement of being a part of a new, energetic, urban experience, and to the intimate involvement through the use of social media channels that intensified the connection with the Skillet brand.

Charlie's Buns N' Stuff

Charlies Buns N Stuff is Seattles boldest kitchen on wheels; dishing out all-American eats with a tasty twist! We create our burgers with local, high quality, organic ingredients that pack a flavorful punch!
Our generously portioned burgers are handcrafted from local, 100% pasture-raised beef. The tender, flavorful beef is free of growth hormones, antibiotics, and animal by-products. The handcrafted patty is served on our signature brioche bun. Brioche, a classic French bun, has a light, velvety texture. We source our buns from a Seattle bakery that makes each bun by hand with local, organic ingredients.

Snout & Co.

If you would like a taste of Cuba, come and try our mojo pork. We blend fresh citrus and spices to create this amazing style of pork that the Cubans have perfected. We will also offer our family recipe of black beans and fried plantains that are served with our smoked tomatillo-coconut sauce.
"Growing up with a Cuban grandmother has always given me a sense of pride. Cubans love their community and share their food with smiles".
Lee Scott - Owner of Snout & Co.

Where Ya At Matt

Our food, as much as our style, is bold and intentional. The focus is on quality. Everything is hand-made right down to the mayonnaise. We put our heart and soul into everything that we do - from order to pick up, you will feel the love.
When you come to our truck we want you to experience a little bit of New Orleans. This means you can take time to relax and breathe and enjoy what we have created. We want you to feel special and appreciated. We want you to have nostalgic bites that take you back to experiences in childhood. We want our soul food to touch your soul.

Every menu item carries a fond childhood memory for me. I am sharing the best, most comforting, most delicious street foods New Orleans has to offer. Every item carries with it the history and flavor of my home town. I chose each menu item then ran it by my family, even my granny. When granny approves, you know it’s got to be good!

Marination Station

Once upon a time Kamala and Roz sent their very hard-earned money to Wall Street to grow. Turns out Wall Street wasn’t raised well by its parents, and the once-healthy bundle they sent eastward limped back home, a broken sliver of its former self. The ladies considered the anemic remains they were dealing with, and wondered how on Earth to prop it back up and get it going again?
All the thinking and no play made Kamala and Roz hungry. So Kamala marinated some stuff. Then over came a shoulder to lean on and, talking with her mouth full, Kamala admitted things like “I work so hard, I can’t start from scratch again, there’s got to be a way to stop this train before it totally derails. Wow these spicy pork tacos are the best I’ve made in weeks.”
The shoulder, being a friend with a full belly and therefore a full brain, replied “Your marinades are exquisite, bordering on ambrosial. Hey, I know, you can build a marinated meat stand on wheels. Ha ha ha.”
Kamala’s eyes grew as big as a kimchi rice bowl and Roz’s brain spun like a chrome hubcap. Marination, The Saucy Food Truck, was born.
Roz is at the wheel a lot, and you’ll find Kamala’s taking orders and “talking story” every week. Check our website and Twitter <http://twitter.com/curb_cuisine> for current location updates. Come kick it on the curb! There isn’t a drive-through, but there’s always plenty of feet parking.
And while the Big Blue fills their hearts with mucho glee, the opportunity to add a brick ‘n mortar location to the family was too good to believe, and too good to pass up. Marination Station is alive and well, serving aloha daily in Seattle’s Capitol Hill neighborhood (holla!) as of April 2011. Exact locale on the Many Locations! page.
The End.

We are based in Edmonds, Washington, but we drive our lovely orange truck to different locations in the Seattle area throughout the week. Our menu changes weekly, but we love making hearty sandwiches, salads and soups. We draw our inspiration from our extensive cookbook collection and seasonal ingredients, and we love global flavors. So our menu has a little something from here and a little something from there.

Be sure to check our web site for the most current menu as well as details
about our locations for the week  we are a mobile kitchen after all!

We have delicious grilled panini, sliders (kobe beef, coconut chicken, salmon cakes), Belgian-style French Fries with 6 dipping sauces and Seasonal salads.
Daily specials include Reubens, Cubans, Salmon Fillet sandwiches, pulled pork sliders and much more!

The beginnings of Halláva Falafel came to be in July of 2006. The mission was three-fold.
The first was to create a street food scene that provided quality food at a reasonable price not only in Seattle but specifically in our neighborhood of Georgetown where it was virtually impossible to eat lunch for under ten bucks.
The second was to create a high quality falafel, like that found in Israel and Lebanon and Spain to name a few. The finer points of falafel are often overlooked in Seattle. Our falafel is awesome, but it is not 'our own take on it', nor is it 'untraditional' nor 'Americanized'. Much like a taco, a falafel sandwich can be served with most anything you want.
Thirdly, while we enjoy eating at various taco trucks as much as anyone, maybe more, we wanted to open the eyes of the people of Seattle. We wanted to show them that foods trucks can be clean, diverse, and serve more than just Mexican food. Food trucks can increase the allure of any neighborhood they serve, provided the food is on par.
Falafel is a popular food in many parts of the world. Its popularity spreads from India through central Asia and the Middle East, across north Africa, and up to many parts of Europe.
Most sources believe that falafel was first created in Egypt sometime around four or five thousand years ago.
Halláva Falafel is not a middle eastern, nor mediterranean food truck. More accurately it would be described as a Russo-Turkic truck. Most of our recipes, not to mention our brand of customer service come from the Motherland and Central Asia.

Hand-kneaded, made-from-scratch dough--topped with the very best ingredidients and fired at 1000 degrees in our homemade oven.......That's Veraci.
We care about our customers and want to offer them an unparalleled pizza eating experience.
Since 2004, we have been a leader in providing the finest gourmet mobile food at your local farmers markets.

Street Treats began because owner, Diane Skwiercz, loves to eat sweets and everything chocolate.  Because of her lifelong love of travel, which has taken her to more than 30 countries, she felt the pull of the road and decided her dessert shop should be on wheels.  She bought a truck off e-Bay from the U.S. Postal Service, converted it to biodiesel and outfitted it with battery-operated appliances to minimize her carbon footprint.  All of her packaging is compostable or biodegradable, too.  It took about two years of planning and copious recipe testing to turn her vice into a business, but Diane has been serving homemade cookies, ice cream sandwiches, bars, brownies and other treats since June 2010.

Curry Now is an environmentally responsible business.
We use recyclable materials and recycle as much of our waste as possible. Curry Now uses only fine ingredients in our dishes. All meats and vegetables are handpicked to ensure the best quality to our customers.
The spices we use are only of the best quality, and we feel our customers will be able to tell the difference when they try our foods.
